The Virginia Graeme Baker Act takes affect December 19, 2008 requiring all public pools and spas to comply with new safety standards.

Cell Phones for Soldiers
Cell Phones for Soldiers hopes to turn old cell phones into more than 12 million minutes of prepaid calling cards for U.S. troops stationed overseas in 2008. To do so, Cell Phones for Soldiers expects to collect 15,000 cell phones each month through a network of more than 3,000 collection sites across the country.
You can count on Proline to be there for our Soldiers. All Proline locations are now official collection sites for this wonderful program. Please consider donating your old or unused cell phones to help our fellow American Soldiers currently stationed abroad.

Taking Stock of Inventory Practice
According to Jon Schreibfeder, president of Effective Inventory Management, distributors are taking a good hard look at their inventory management practices right now in light of uncertain economic conditions. In a recent interview with MDM, he said that effective inventory management practices can get lost in the shuffle when sales are soaring.
Schreibfeder told MDM:
"I cannot think of a sector that is not looking at their inventory and becoming more conservative about how they’re stocking products. The challenge is that they still have to have what their customers need. They’re putting in more thought and using more tools. A lot of distributors have a good set of tools in their software already. They just have never had the incentive to learn how to use them."
