Pool Inlets

Inlets return filtered, heated, and chemically treated water back to the pool. Inlets provide those surprisingly strong jets of water that tickle you as you hold on to the side of the pool. Inlets are most often located on pool walls, although in some pools they are located on the bottom. It is imperative that pool inlets be placed strategically so that chemicals are distributed evenly throughout the pool. Improper placement of inlets can create dead spots which are difficult to detect. Algae growth in certain areas is a telltale sign of this circulation inadequacy. Adjustable inlets can be purchased that enable you to direct the treated water to the exact spots where it is needed most.
